Skilled Worker Sponsor Licence
The Skilled Worker visa represents a new category within the UK visa system. To be eligible for this visa, individuals must secure sponsorship from a UK-based employer. However, employers can only offer sponsorship if they possess a Skilled Worker Sponsor Licence.
The Skilled Worker Licence grants employers the authority to issue “Certificates of Sponsorship” (COS) to prospective applicants. Without a COS, individuals cannot apply for the Skilled Worker visa.
For detailed guidance on obtaining a Skilled Worker Sponsor Licence, please contact our office.
Sponsorship Licence Compliance
All employers, businesses, and organizations intending to apply for a Sponsorship Licence must adhere to the compliance requirements established by the Home Office. Failure to meet these requirements can result in suspension or revocation of the Sponsorship Licence. The Home Office may conduct a compliance audit at your company before rendering a decision. This visit aims to verify the accuracy of the provided information and ensure compliance with Home Office regulations. For expert guidance and assistance contact our law
